This website was created by ordinary Scottish families who have been through — or are still going through — the pain of being pushed aside, shut out, or ignored when Power of Attorney comes into someone’s life.
We are not lawyers, social workers or campaigners.
We are daughters, sons, grandchildren, partners and friends who once felt completely helpless — confused, scared, and unsure where to turn.
Then one day we found each other… and realised something none of us expected:
The same thing was happening to families all over Scotland.
The same silence.
The same avoidance.
The same dismissal.
The same isolation of the vulnerable person — and the people who love them.
Just knowing we weren’t alone made the weight a little lighter.
So we built this quiet corner of the internet for you — the next person who feels lost, frightened, confused or heartbroken.
There is no agenda here except kindness, connection and truth.
